it's all good: Battle of the Agendas: Kate Spade v. Lilly Pulitzer

Long time no see, friends!

I don't know about y'all, but for me, picking out the right agenda can be a bit of a process! I am a pen and paper kind of girl, so nothing keeps me more organized than a super cute, perfectly designed planner.

Last year, I took the plunge and purchased a Kate Spade agenda versus another tried-and-true Lilly Pulitzer agenda. I was very hesitant at first since I had no idea what to expect. If you are having a difficult time deciding between the two, I hope this post will help you out!

Overall, there are many similarities and I definitely think that Kate Spade took inspiration from the Lilly agendas. As you can tell, my old Lilly Pulitzer agenda (that I used two years ago) has held up pretty well. Unfortunately, the gold polka-dots on my Kate Spade agenda have seen better days.

To get a comparison of size, these are the two agendas side-by-side. Both agendas are the 'large' which is the average size. The Kate Spade agenda is slightly larger and the spiral is enclosed.

In between each month, both agendas have their own little inspiration pages. I think that each design reflects their company perfectly. The Lilly is colorful and fun, while the Kate Spade is chic and feminine.

I live and die by these calendar pages for tests, quizzes, and upcoming assignments (read: dinner dates with my big & little), so I was happy to see that they were very similar.

Again, another similarity that I was thankful for. These pages are perfect for penciling in homework assignments with ample room to write. As you might be able to tell, the Kate Spade month tabs are laminated and a bit more sturdy than the Lilly Pulitzer ones.

All in all, I would recommend both. However, if you are making the transition from college to the real world eek! but can't quite phase out a planner (eh hem...me), I would definitely recommend the Kate Spade!
