Makeup Meltdown Holiday Collection lipstick in 'Grenada' and 'Serrano' c/o, Makeup Meltdown organic lip scrub c/o (releasing 12/1!)
I am so excited to share a little preview of Makeup Meltdown's Holiday collection with you! You may follow beauty guru Claire Ashley who recently created a custom collection with Makeup Meltdown, and they are about to debut their very limited-release holiday collection, so I wanted to show you the two shades to give you an idea of what they look like!
First, I never realized how crucial a lip scrub was to priming my lips before applying lipstick (I'm kind of a beauty amateur over here), but it really does make a difference! My lips felt hydrated and the lipstick didn't crumble like most do when my lips get dry. The shades are gorgeous and smell amazing, too! I loved the deeper red/cranberry shade, it will look gorgeous for the holidays!
For you local D.C. ladies, Makeup Meltdown is hosting an event with Sarah Fraser on December 10th from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Kendra Scott boutique in Mosaic District. You will have the opportunity to create your own lip color at their pop-up "lip bar" and 20% of all Kendra Scott and Makeup Meltdown Sales will go to Active Minds.
