While I am not into sleek and modern lines, I would definitely consider my style to be more on the minimalist side. I typically shy away from layering on jewelry and accessories, and prefer to let my clothes speak for themselves. What I love about this outfit, is that each of these pieces are unique and can stand out on their own, but work together seamlessly to create an all-around flattering look.

It's no secret that one of my major style icons is Julia from Gal Meets Glam (how could she not?!) and when she posted about this Isabel Marant top ages ago, I needed it in the worst way. However, there was no way I would have been able to afford it. Since then, I had been searching for something that could compare, so when I saw this I knew I had to jump on it. Its a little boxy, so I tucked it into these denim paper bag shorts which are so flattering on! Also, how cute is this little clutch? I got it as a gift from my dad for housesitting while he was on vacation. I must say, he really knows my style!

Sorry for the lack of posting lately. It has rained here in Northern Virginia for a total of 19 days straight...and counting. Which makes shooting super difficult!
