Pumpkin Patch

One of my favorite fall activities is going to the pumpkin patch (#basic). So, the other night, my mom and I ventured over to Great Country Farms a little before dusk to pick out our pumpkins. It was the perfect temperature. Low 70s with a slight breeze made this ensemble perfect for an evening outdoors.

I love that the ruffled tiers add more dimension and also fall in just the right places, making this dress from Tobi extremely flattering. I know a dress might not seem like the most practical thing to wear for an afternoon at the pumpkin patch, but throw on a pair of Hunter boots and they immediately make an outfit more casual.

I love wearing dresses in the fall (I love this one!). It is such an effortless piece to throw on and layer on top of as the temps begin to dip. If I were taking this outfit from day to evening, I would throw on this jacket to keep with the casual look. How do you like to style dresses in the fall?
