Memory Lane

Since my mom is my blog photographer, I feel super lucky to spend so much time with her. The other weekend, we drove around to see all the places she grew up in. She was born and raised in the same area, so all the homes were close by. It was so much fun seeing her go down memory lane and share those special moments with me! We ended up stopping on the side of the road to take these photos in the neighborhood where she lived in high school. It was a fun change of scenery for blog photos, and a great way to remember such a fun day!

The temperatures have just dipped here, but last week when I was in San Francisco, this outfit was perfect! I know that not everyone is in need of heavy winter looks yet, so this one is still fall appropriate and completely transitional.

I also recently purchased another chambray shirt. My other one has to be six + years old and was falling apart, so it was time for a refresh. Its amazing how we can wear down our closet staples, and it also makes you realize how important it is to buy the things you wear the most at a higher quality, so you can wear and love them for as long as you can.
