The first time I fell in love with the overall trend was when my friend Nikki wore a pair of short overalls to the Blog Societies Conference in Charleston last August. I had been wanting to try the trend since then, but never thought I'd be able to pull it off. Well, after seeing two of my favorite bloggers Liz and Julia sporting these, I took a chance at them (especially since I was able to get them during the Shopbop sale!)
Well, who would have known? I was obsessed. They fit like an absolute glove and are so flattering. Even more so than a lot of my designer denim! Worried of looking too "farm girl" (which is a legitimate concern when you live in a farm town), I opted for an ultra feminine top (last seen here) to pair with my new favorite trend.
I have already worn my overalls multiple times in multiple ways. They are great for errands and especially great for cleaning around the house (helloooo....you never have to pull your pants up!). I wore them here with a striped top (I love this one!), and another time with just a simple white sweater and converses. I'd love to know, what do you think of the trend?
